She was the former Dorothy Key and member of Grace Baptist Church (formerly Mt. Calvary Baptist).
She was preceded in death by husband, Bill; son, John Houk Jr.; and brother, Ellis D. Key.
Survived by her granddaughters, Johna McDougall (Robert) and Amanda Thompson; great-grandchildren, Mercedes and T.J.; niece, Patricia Petter; her special baby, Mickey; and specials friends, Mary and Charlie.
Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at Hardy Valley Funeral Home 10907 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
