Dorothy Lee Perkins

Dorothy Lee Perkins passed on May 5, 2026, at the age of 65. She was a wonderful person, enjoyed most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, and her family. She was always there to lend a helping hand to her family, to simply help make life easier for those she loved. She enjoyed her time spent with her best friend/sister, Hallie. She loved to garden, enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel, and DIY shows. She absolutely loved John Wayne. Watching his films and collecting memorabilia was one of her passions. She will be missed very much by all of her family and her friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ell Roy Perkins, Her mother Emma Wilburn, and her grandfather William Thomas Wilburn.

Survived by her children Eric Malott (Gretchen), and Misty Malott, her grandchildren David Bolding Jr. Gavin Malott, Landyn Malott, Amber Breedlove, Kayla Malott, and Cameron Malott, her great-grandchildren David Bolding III, Luna Ledbetter, and other beloved great-grandchildren, her sisters Rhonda Wall (Scott), and Hallie Cox. Other special people to mention are Cheryl Cummings, William "Billy" Cummings (Carol), Aunt Theresa Wilburn Bullock, and several other special cousins and aunts.

Dorothy will be honored with Visitation at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40219, on May 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will follow at the same location at 1:00 pm.

Followed by a Committal Service at Sonora Cemetery, 1440 Sonora Hardin Springs Road, Sonora, KY 42776, eta 3:00 pm.
