She was a member of the Garrs Lane Methodist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Willis, and son, Scott Willis.
She is survived by six children, Diane Brown (Greg Mittman), Bobbye Spector (Gary Cooper), Peggy Anderson, Sherry Neuner, Mark Willis (Dan Riffel) and Mike Willis; a daughter-in-law, Eileen Willis (aka Irish); nine grandchildren, Todd Brown, Christine Olmsted, Michele Anderson, Danna Fox, Paul Willis, Robyn Spector, Heather Jacobs, Erin Alexander and Nicole Neuner; 17 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Naomi "Mimi" Winstead.
Her funeral will be on Monday at 12 noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 3pm until 8pm on Sunday.
