He passed away peacefully in his home February 26, 2021 surrounded by his family in Valley Station, Kentucky.He leaves behind his children Sandi Wilson, Robin (Michael) Helm, Doug Blevins, Paul Blevins and Missy (Bob) Beyer. Also a legacy of grandchildren that consists of 12 grand-kids and 19.5 great grandkids.He is proceeded in death by the love of his life, Peggy Ann Blevins, his mother Pearl, father Charles, twelve siblings, Isabelle, Dorothy, Jean, Wanda, Margaret, Sylvia, Golden, Junior, Bobby, Duck, Pete, Billy, granddaughter Nikki and great granddaughters Olivia and Hannah.Earl was a strong proud man that loved his family and friends so fiercely that he would do anything for them.He retired from Kosmos Cement Plant and worked construction for many years after building and creating for many.
Creating with his hands was his passion and he loved to stay busy.He is known by his grandchildren as Papaw, the Man,the Myth, the Legend and will be sorely missed.He was in the Army and would tell us all stories of cooking and tank driving.He loved his wife so much that we all find peace knowing that they are together again. His name and legacy will live on through his family and the many things that he created for so many. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11am at the Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, with Cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
