Ed had the most wonderful sense of humor and an incredible talent for understatement.  He made me laugh so much.  I had the privilege of being both his customer and later his coworker.  Ed was unflappable when things went awry.  I learned a lot about technology and a lot about life from him.  Thank you Ed for all you gave me.  I won't forget.  Prayers, hope and well wishes for family and all mourning Ed's passing.

Ed was a gentle man of few words, but greatly admired by many at KFB.  He will always be remembered in our hearts.  Keeping his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Jennifer & Jonathan:  I am deeply saddened by the loss of your father.  Ed and I worked together in the Louisville IBM office and in customer locations around the area, although I worked in the service division.  It was always a pleasure when I knew that I would be working alongside Ed to resolve a problem.  I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend his service due to emergency appendectomy surgery this past Sunday.  Know that Ed's family is in my heart and prayers at this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Ed at IBM.  He was one of the good ones - technically as a mentor and personally with his compassion.  He cared about other people and recruited me (and others) to donate platelets in the early 1980s for a friend's son.  I quickly saw the need for platelets and have been donating them for the last 30+ years.  I mention this only to say that Ed's concern for others had a VERY far reaching impact on our world, a reach that I hope he understood.  I will miss him and will treasure having had him as part of my IBM family.  Here's to you, Ed!

So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I worked with Ed at KFB for over 6 years but have known him since the early 80's when I worked at Citizens Fidelity Bank. He was always a great guy and knew more about computers than almost anyone I know.

I also worked with Ed at Kentucky Farm Bureau. He was a good friend and a gentleman. I will miss him.

Ed was one of the "6-10-1967" group, people who all got married (for the first time) on the same date.  Four of us worked in the Louisville office for IBM.  God bless you, Ed

Very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. We shared many good times at Sebago Lake with Ann and "Murph", Sue and George, Alice, Dick, Don, Eddy and May, Ethel and Win and all the rest of the Jordan family.

I had the pleasure of working with Ed at two different companies: IBM and KY Farm Bureau.  Although our workplaces changed, Ed remained a gracious, dedicated, skilled and reliable friend.  We watched him while he cared for his beloved wife during her medical challenges, and while that responsibility must have been heavy, he bore it with grace.  This kind and graceful friend will be mourned by the many who knew and respected him. Our deepest sympathies go to his family.
