He was retired from the US Air Force and as an electrician at CSX Railroad.
Mr. Ash is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dixie Ash; children, Mark Wiser (Margarita), Geri Lynn Clifton, Julie Wiser-Broyles, Jamie Friedman and Martha Wiser-Partin (Mark); 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lenora Schneider and Mary Jane Cornett.
Memorial visitation will be on Sunday from 2pm until 4pm, with the family hosting a gathering afterward.
The family requests no flowers. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Cedar Lake Lodge in honor of Sara Broyles.
