Garnett T Clary

In 2015, Mr. Clary married Elizabeth Watkins McLemore in Boydton, Virginia.

He was a painter for many years, alongside his parents, while also playing music at local venues as a member of several bands. He also worked for Carl Wright's Garage in Lawrenceville, Virginia and Walmart in Roanoke Rapids, NC and Frankfort, KY. He was a member of Matthews Chapel United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, VA, and of Bridgeport Christian Church in Frankfort, Kentucky and did volunteer work for Matthews Chapel United Methodist Church and many other organizations in Brunswick County, Virginia. Mr. Clary took IT classes at the University of Arizona Global Campus and graduated from Brunswick Academy in Lawrenceville, Virginia.

Mr. Clary was an avid fisherman, loved camping, was a grill master, and enjoyed spending time in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Watkins Clary, his children, Crystal Morris (Brandon), Josh Clary, Will Clary (Tori), his stepchildren, Joseph Clary, Stewart Jeffers, and Chloe Jeffers, as well as his six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Thomas Clary and Lillie Viola Lynch Clary.

The Memorial Service will be held at Bridgeport Christian Church in Frankfort, Kentucky on June 17, 2025, at 2:30 PM.
