Gina Jo Foster, a vibrant soul whose creativity and love filled every corner of her life, passed away suddenly on April 1, 2026. Though her passing was unexpected, the imprint she leaves on the lives of those who love her is not.
Gina Jo was one of a kind. She had an eye for beauty in the overlooked, turning the ordinary into something special through her love of crafting and upcycling. She wasn’t afraid to sew a denim pocket on anything! She expressed herself boldly, often in a head-to-toe themed outfit with her signature bandana in her hair, and carried a sense of style that was as fearless as it was uniquely hers. Music was her constant companion, and her voice—whether singing loudly or super loud—was a reflection of her joyful spirit.
Her faith in Jesus was a guiding light in her life. She loved deeply and fully, never hesitating to show it or share it.
Gina Jo’s boldness and resilience live on through her two children and their spouses, Robyn & Ethan and David & Amber. This awesome GiGi also leaves behind her beloved granddaughters, Ava June and Piper Jo, who brought her endless pride and happiness. She was fully devoted to making everything fun and whimsical for the short time they had with her.
She will also be deeply missed by her long time love of 10 years, Robbie McCreary, who brought a sweet calmness to her colorful chaos. He will lovingly remember his “Shorty” and undoubtedly carry her memory in his heart forever. In a testament to her heart, she also remained close with her former husband, Glenn, with whom she shared a lasting bond of love and memories.
She was so loved and adored by countless friends and family who all have their own core memories of a wild time with her. She always wanted to have fun and endlessly showed up in whatever way she could for her friends, especially if a concert or party was involved.
Gina Jo will be remembered not just for what she made with her hands, but for what she created in the lives around her—connection, laughter, and a sense that nothing and no one was ever beyond repair. She treated everyone she met with such acceptance and warmth; she never met a stranger and her kindness and care was evident upon meeting her for the first time.
Her legacy lives on in every song sung at the top of your lungs, every piece lovingly repurposed, and every act of quiet kindness.
A celebration of her life will be held on May 9, 2026, from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Flanagans Ale House, where all who knew her are invited to honor the color, creativity, and love she brought into the world. Loud singing, themed outfits, and sweet dance moves are mandatory.
