He was a retired truck driver for Chevron Oil and a WW II Navy veteran. He was a member of Grace Church.
Mr. Dodson was preceded in rest by his wives, Frances Imelda Dodson and Sue Dodson.
He is survived by his brother, Bernard Lamar “Sonny” Dodson and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be on Friday at 1pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday at 10am until the time of service.
