Helen Louise (Lee) Watson, 96, of Louisville passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was born on April 4, 1930 in Owen County, KY, the daughter of the late Walter B. and Viola (Smith) Lee. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Omer B. Lee.
Louise retired from JCPS where she worked in Food Service. She was a member of Lyndon Christian Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years.
Survivors include three children, Danny L. Watson (Melissa), Darrell L. Watson (Rhonda) and Donna L. Watson; three grandchildren, D. Travis Watson (Jennifer), Sherri L. Pollard (Wayne), Michael E. Watson (Jenny); 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A service to celebrate Louise’s life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Porter Christian Church, 1206 Porter Rd. Sadieville, KY 40370. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM on Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church in Sadieville.
