She was the retired owner of Connie’s Beauty Salon, a member of Cove Baptist Church, a former school bus driver, and had worked in aircraft manufacturing during WWII.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ila “Joe” Pollock.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Pollock; sons, Richard and Dale Pollock; siblings Louise, Juanita, and George: 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Many people thought of her as a second mother.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Raymond Baptist Church Cemetery (Raymond, KY). Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Tuesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
