Jim was a retired Major from the U.S. Army’s 100th Division Cavalry. He was also a retired driver for Brewster Trucking Company. He was a member of the Valley Station Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife Emma, sister Betty Jean Conway, father William Oval Booth, mother Mae Edgar Booth, and step-mother Lois Booth, and his closest uncle & aunt Reed and Lillian Booth.
Jim was survived by daughter Angie Jorgensen (Joe); son Jimmy Booth (Laura); son Daryl Booth (Sarah); Grandchildren, Jackelyn, Jordan, Mitchell, Kyle, Dalton; Great-Grandchildren, Carter, Elijah. Sisters Vicki (Wayne) Johnson, Lynn Redmond, Cheryl Barrett, Wilma Dean Wright; and others including recent companion Nell Warren.
A funeral service will be held on friday at 12:00pm at Advantage Funeral Home ( 10907 Dixie Highway Louisville Ky) with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00am until service time.
