James "Bubba" Richard Ayers

James retired from UPS Supply Chain Solutions in E-Town after 20 + years of dedicated service. He enjoyed farming and tinkering with his trucks. His real fun was riding his motorcycles and ATVs - going mudding and trail riding.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Patty Shuffitt Ayers; his second wife, Sharron Stratton Ayers; and brothers, Michael Ayers and Johnie Gauffey.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Zachary Wayne Ayers; stepdaughter, Aly dePierro (Matt); grandson, Matthew Monsam; sisters, Anita Dewitt, Carolyn Warburton; many cousins and extended family; his UPS family; and his two best friends, Tony Basham and John Hands.

A Celebration of James' Life is at the Boston Community Center, 61 Lebanon Junction Rd, Boston, KY 40107 on Sunday, November 22, 2026 from 2pm until 5pm.
