James “Jimmy” L. Thompson, 75, entered into rest on Saturday, June 16, 2018. He retired from G.E. after 26 years of service. Jim was a member of Good Sam Camping Club and of G.E. IUE 761. He is survived by his wife, Janice Thompson; Children, Kimberly J Resch, Kevin, Donovan, Douglas, Adam Thompson, Paul King and Tracey J Willoughby; Brothers, William and Robert Thompson; 18- Grandchildren and 8 – Great Grandchildren; His funeral service will be on Thursday at 2 pm at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel,10907 Dixie Highway, with burial following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1-8pm and after 10am on Thursday at the funeral home.
