He was met at the gates of heaven by his parents; Woodrow and Miriam Wilson; and son; Mathew Wilson.

He was a member of the Southeast Christian Church.

James in survived by his wife, Donna Lee Wilson; and son Alan Wilson, his brother Bill and his wife Linda.

The family has entrusted Advantage Funeral Home with the cremation.
