Janet L Berry

Janet was born in Louisville and graduated from Valley High School in May 1964. Later that year, she married the love of her life, Larry Berry. Together they shared over 60 wonderful years and raised two children. Their journey took them to Orange Park, Florida, and Houston, Texas due to Larry's career. They moved back to Louisville in 1990.

Janet worked as a merchandiser for Wrigley Gum and other companies throughout her career. She had a deep love for tennis, eventually playing on the A team, and continued the sport until retiring in 2022 due to her battle with ALS. Janet and Larry enjoyed spending retirement traveling and going on cruises.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Clara Aiken, and her granddaughter, Kelsey Jacobs.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry; daughter, Tammy (Craig); son, Dwayne (Andrea); grandchildren, Justin Jacobs and Libby Berry; and her siblings, Carol, Donna, and Ronnie.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272. A funeral service will follow on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the same location with more visitation before funeral. Janet will be laid to rest at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272.
