He was a Metal Fabricator for Naval Ordnance with over 32 years of service. Jerry was very active in the Louisville Jaycees where he had served on the Board of Directors and was the original Werewolf for the WAKY Haunted House.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Brentlinger Cunningham; mother, LaVerne Cunningham; three children, Wade David Cunningham, Lori King (Mike) and Jamie Lynne Cunningham; beloved grand-daughter, Alyssa Lynne King; siblings, Darlene Wilcoxson (Ronny), Murlene Horine (Jerry), Wade Cunningham and Tom Cunningham; nephews, Donnie Edlin (Amanda) and Madison Cunningham.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm on Thursday.
In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested memorial gifts to the American Diabetes Association or Hosparus.
