John Lawson 76, of Louisville passed away Thursday November 8, 2018. John was an Army veteran and retiree from Phillip Morris with 31 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Lawson, daughter Cheryl Lawson and brother Jimmy Lawson. John has left behind to cherish his memory his wife Margaret “Maggie” Lawson, two daughters Lisa Blankenship (Mike), Michele Stotts, stepdaughter Trina Pratt (David), stepson Tony Russell (Sally); three sisters Shirley Beyl, Norma Hall and Rita Allen (Charles), also nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A celebration of John’s life will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 2:00 P.M at advantage funeral home Hardy Chapel 10907 Dixie hwy., memorial visitation will be from 12:00 P.M until the service time.
