John Kenneth Powell, 53, entered into rest on Thursday, November 16, 2017. John was the Project Manager for Madden Elevator. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Powell. John is survived by his wife, Lanita Beavers; Mother, Martha Powell; Daughter, Jorden Claycomb; Brother, David Powell (Dottie Akridge); Sisters, Theresa Powell (Thomas Jansson), Brenda Powell; Step Daughters, Crystal, Jennifer, Becky, Amy; Nieces, Cori, Taylor, Megan, Eden; Great Niece, Zoe; And many other family & friends. His funeral service will be held on Monday at 12noon at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, with Burial following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-8pm and on Monday after 9am until time of service at the funeral home.
