Judith May Stevens

Judith May Stevens age 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side. Judy was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, Judy was retired from McCrary Hospital where she worked in environmental services.

Judy was a daughter, sister, aunt, grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandma. She loved all of these roles in her life. Judy and John had a marriage we dream of, married 66 years and very dedicated to each other no matter the circumstances. Any one that new her smile, laugh and sense of humor. She loved everyone she came into contact with. She was generous even when she had little. If anyone needed her, she would go to be by their side. She lived an incredible life of love, forgiveness and understanding. Family was everything to her and if you new her you were family. She will be missed by all. She is now with her husband again and all of her family who went before her.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; Hubert and Flora, husband John, her four sisters; Shirley Davidson, Martha Hart, Betty Cole, and Hyla Harper, her four brothers; Jerry, Jack, Robert and Hubert Hart JR.

She has left behind to cherish her memory; Janet Mason (Russell), Jane Armes, John M Stevens Jr. (Tamara), Jennifer Moreau (Pat); 18 grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces and nephews, and other family that will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 11:00-1:00 PM at Incarnation Catholic Church 2229 Lower Hunters Trace, Louisville KY 40216 . Service will be held at 1:00 at church. Cremation will follow. Family request any floral arrangements be sent to Incarnation Catholic Church on Monday.
