

Judy was born in Glasgow Ky., to John and Mary Wilson on July 16, 1943. She owned and operated The Beauty Box Salon, located in Valley Station, for many years, until she became a grandma, where she devoted all her time to caring for "Her Boys". She loved to sing and was a member of the South Dixie Community Choir. She was also a member of The United Methodist Women's group and was very active in her church. She loved to take road trips on the motorcycle or going fishing on the pontoon at the lake. She was The Rock of the family and always there to help everyone.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Wilson, her husband Darrel Hoover, sisters Sue Froedge, Rose Allen and Vickie Wilson, and her brother Lonnie Wilson.
She is survived by her sons Jon Hoover (Manda), Daniel Hoover (Amy) and her grandsons Jonathan and Jacob Hoover, Sisters Joyce Bailey, Brenda Williams (Allen), and Marybeth Vincent, brothers Harold, Collie, Bob, Darrell, Bill (Kim) and Donald (Denise) Wilson. She was a loving and caring Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday January 26th from 1:00-5:00 at the VFW Post of Blevins Gap Rd. in Valley Station.
