Judy Elaine Norfleet

Born in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Brent and Dessie Sumpter, Judy was a former member of Louisville Baptist Temple, and she enjoyed visiting the casino, playing bingo, and crocheting. Most of all, though, she loved spending time with her grandkids.

Judy is survived by her husband of 61 years Larry Norfleet; daughter, Lisa Lamkin (Rodney); sisters, Carol Barnes and Betty Holloway (Sam); sister-in-law Sherry Sumpter; grandchildren Kevin (Brittany), Manny (Kristina), Rachel (Blake), Jacob (Payton), Jason (Alexis), Alex, and Kassi; great-grandchildren Jordan, Emma, Reghan, Davis, Onix, Tomi, Myles, Xander, and Octavia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughters Tammy Jo Sheffield and Kim Scofield; and brother Paul Sumpter.

Her funeral service will be held at 6:00pm Friday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by cremation. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral.
