

Kathleen Westenhoefer, “Kitty”, 92 died peacefully with her family at her side on July 7, 2016. Kathleen was a retired maker operator for Lorillard, Inc. She was a conscientious employee, who prided herself with quality production. Kathleen loved her family whole heartedly. She had many hobbies including crafts, gardening, canning fruits and vegetables and traveled extensively. She was an Elvis fan. She was known for her beautiful voice and always had a song in her heart. She loved to make people laugh and cared deeply for others. Kathleen attended Victory General Baptist Church and loved her church family. Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth of 56 years; parents, Sherley and Edna White; brother, William R. White; sisters, Lorraine Wiley and Virginia Rouse. She was loving mother to her children, Ellis Ray(Helga)Roland, Jerrilynn Roland, Edna Marie(Donny) Varble and Kathleen Denise(Willie)Steilberg. Close to her heart were many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother in law, Bob Westenhoefer and sister in law, Marie Westenhoefer and many loving nieces and nephews. Her service will be Monday, 12 noon at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Services with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Her visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus, Victory General Baptist Church and Southwest YMCA ADC. Thanks to Sue Ridling, Eldercare, Inc, who worked tirelessly to care for our mother. Thanks to everyone at Southwest YMCA, Adult Day Program who improve Mother’s quality of life. Thank you for the wonderful care given by Kathy Nauert and the Hosparus team.
