

Kevin graduated from South Oldham High School in 1997 and attended the College of Charleston then went on to build a career in Information Technology. He began working at Dr. Dan's Computers, where he developed a passion and talent for computers. over the years, he continued to develop his IT skills, building network systems and troubleshooting complex technical challenges for companies throughout Louisville metropolitan area.
Outside of work, Kevin found joy in staying active and competing. He was an avid soccer and beach volleyball player, bringing the same energy, determination, and competitive spirit to the field and court that he brought to life. He had a natural ability to pick up almost any sport and excel at it. He was also a passionate Cleveland Browns fan.
Kevin also loved to camp, especially at the family's campsite in Indiana and in his grandparents' RV. Some of his fondest memories were made around the campsite, surrounded by friends and family. He especially enjoyed summer vacations with his paternal grandparents, Mary and Dan Coddington, and his cousins Eric and Scott Seanor. He also enjoyed summer trips to Fairport Harbor, Ohio to visit his maternal grandparents, Helen and Joseph Pillar and get a chance to play with his cousins Lisa Dufour, Kim Wheeler, and TJ Wheeler and swim in Lake Erie.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Judie Coddington; his brother Dannie Coddington (Nicole); his son Joseph Coddington; his daughter Eleanor Coddington; and his loving partner of four years, Leslie Wright; his niece Morgan Coddington; Aunt, Leslie Coddington; Uncle, Craig Coddington; Cousins, Eric Seanor, Scott Seanor, Casie Voddington, Lisa Dufour, Kim Wheeler, and TJ Wheeler.
Kevin will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His humor, warmth, competitive spirit, and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the mark he made on the lives of those around him will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
