Larry Sample Sr.

Larry was a carpenter by trade and owned his own remodeling business. He enjoyed gardening and tending to the flowers. He enjoyed anything that involved being with his family. A true family man, always joking, just hanging out or helping family with home improvement projects.

Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Sample; his son, Larry Sample Jr. (Aleisha); and his daughter, Becky Rutko (Bobby); his brother, Richard Sample (Rose); his grandsons, Dakotah Sample (Taylor)and Skylar Sample and his great grandchild Leland Sample with Laylah on the way.

Larry was preceded in death by his father Herbert Sample and his mother Ellen Sample; his brothers, Charles Sample, Donnie Sample; Jackie Sample,Gary Sample and Doug Sample.

A visitation for Larry will be held Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. Visitation will continue Monday, June 15, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service of 1:00 PM. Committal will take place immediately to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
