Lawrence E. Baines

Larry was the president and CEO of Peerless Electronic Supplies. He was an active member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church serving on the finance committee for many years. He was an avid University of Louisville Basketball and Football fan and loving owner of Roxie and Beatrice, both of whom will miss him deeply. He enjoyed drag racing in his younger days in the "Kentucky Gambler". He was also known as a frequent diner at Silvio's in Saint Matthews, every Wednesday and Friday with his lovely wife.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of thirty seven years, Doris Baines; a daughter, Catherine Baines; and son, Alex Baines (Kaelin); a sister, Deborah Dziadus (Don); a brother John Baines; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents John and Catherine Baines.

Cremation was chosen

A Memorial Mass will take place Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10 am at St Peter the Apostle, 5431 Johnsontown Rd, Louisville, KY.

A celebration visitation will take place at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 4pm to 8pm.
