Larry was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran who served during the Vietnam War. During his military service, he was awarded two Purple Hearts, along with numerous other military honors. His experiences included serving as a security guard, a tunnel rat, and tracking down soldiers who were absent without leave (AWOL). Among his many memorable experiences was the opportunity to share coffee with President Lyndon B. Johnson.
A hardworking and determined man, Larry began by cutting grass and eventually built Lyndon Mower Repair Shop from the ground up. He took great pride in his work and believed in the importance of dedication, perseverance, and helping others. He was a natural leader who earned the respect of those around him.
Above all, Larry loved God, his family, his country, and his fellow man. He was a genuine, loving, and giving person with a beautiful spirit. Despite his accomplishments and military honors, Larry remained humble and never sought recognition for his many acts of kindness. He was a hero to those who knew and loved him.
Larry had a deep love for his parents and family and especially enjoyed spending time at the beaches of Florida. He loved having his wife, Kim, by his side, and their companionship was an important part of his life. His desire to help others continued throughout his years. Even while residing in a nursing home, Larry took pride in serving as its unofficial security guard, a role that gave him a continued sense of purpose.
Larry's family felt truly blessed to have known his love, generosity, and kindness. He will be remembered for the way he cared for others, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and the love he shared so freely with those around him.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his siblings, Donnie Pinotti, Jimmy Pinotti, Roger Pinotti, Robert Pinotti, Steve Pinotti, and Toni Carver.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kim J. Revell; his daughters, Melissa Taylor, Kristina Westrick (Jeroen), and Danielle Frazier; his grandchildren, Anthony, Stephany, Sherrie, Lusara, Moses, Aymeline, Maxim Lawrence, Echo, and Justice; and his brother, Jerry Pinotti.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Larry will be laid to rest with military honors on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
