

Lisa Sue Elzy, lovingly known by her family as Grammy and E.B., was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 24, 1963 and peacefully departed this earth at the age of 62 on the evening of May 21, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Lisa was the life of the party. She knew how to make you laugh and have a good time. Her love and light would shine through her smile. Crafting was one of her many talents/hobbies. She would make the most beautiful flower arrangements and other decor for her home and flower garden. She lived for a beach vacation and a weekend at the lake.
She was a very special person who loved her family & friends more than anything. Lisa had a gentle, warm spirit and a selfless heart. Her presence brought laughter and comfort. She was resilient, always bouncing back from life’s hurdles with grace.
Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Elzy, and her parents, Charlie and Ada Sample. She is survived by her daughter, Kayla Brown(Ray), and son, Tyler Elzy. She was a proud, loving Grandmother to Chloe Spencer. Her sisters, Debbie Carey(David) and Donna Coulter. Her sweet fur baby, Lily. She is also survived by her long time dear friend, Jim Johnson, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

Visitation will be held at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, on June 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on June 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Committal will take place at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flower arrangements, donations towards funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
