Margaret Louise Doyle

Margaret Keys Doyle, 92, entered into rest on Tuesday April 13, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hardin Doyle, Jr.; parents, Guy and Virginia Keys; her siblings, Evelyn Vowels, Betty Hesler, Guy Keys, Louis Keys.

She was a graduate of Ekron High School and from Bryant & Stratton Business College. Margaret retired from the Bank of Louisville where she was employed for 25 years. She was a long time member of Valley Station Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. In later years, she was a member of Beargrass Christian Church.

Margaret was a member of Valley Womans Club and she volunteered at the Kentucky Center and Louisville Palace for many years. She loved to bowl with her teammates and friends at Dixie Bowl. Margaret was a great wife, mother, and memaw. She had a zest for life. She especially enjoyed traveling, dancing, attending church, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her Son, Jeffrey Scott Doyle (Pam) and Daughter, Jacqueline Carol Mayes (Wayne); Her Grandsons, Brandon Mayes (Erin) and Alex Doyle (Kaylor); Her Granddaughters, Jennifer Mayes and Mary Allison Doyle; Great Granddaughter, Madison Skye Mayes; Great Grandson, Beckett Doyle.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 1pm at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, with Burial following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday after 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
