Margaret Geary

It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of Margaret Owen Geary, who departed this life on November 2, 2025, in Louisville, KY after a long battle with many illnesses. Born on December 21, 1951, to Melvin and Georgia Nevil in Louisville, KY. She was cherished by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Margaret had a kind-hearted soul that made you smile.

She devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Not a day went by that she wasn't helping one of them accomplish something. She loved bingo, going to Myrtle Beach and listening to Josh Turner and Elvis Presley.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 58 years, James, her children Roxanne (Denny) and James, Jr. (Chrissy), 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings, Lela Fey and Dottie (Daymond) along with many extended family members who will cherish her memory in their hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Shirley, William, Doug, Wayne and Cathy.

Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home-Hardy Chapel, located at 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272, on November 6, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same venue on November 7, 2025, at 12:00 pm.

A graveside service will follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, located at 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272, on November 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
