It was an honor to be his mother. I have so many fond wonderful memories of him as a baby and little boy. He began reading at 18 months and by age 4 read on the college level. There was no stopping him. He was a loving devoted son and even though I know he is with the Lord I absolutely don't know how I will live in a world without him. Thank you God for letting me be his mother.

All my memories of Mark are simple memories. Memories of a kind caring man, always ready with a smile and a hand to help. I saw love in his eyes whenever he was around his family, love for his boys, and especially for his wife, Randa. One of my favorite things about Mark is how often he was helping his mother. I believe he was the happiest when he was serving others. When the hail hit Wylie, TX he was so happy to help the delivery driver save his new car from damage by opening his garage and allowing the driver to wait out the storm. And just like so many other times we spoke, the last time I spoke with Mark we talked about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved the Lord with all his heart, and today he is home with the Lord. But I feel truly blessed in that the Lord led my family and me to visit Mark, Randa, and the boys on a last minute trip from Texas to Kentucky last week. That will truly be my fondest memory, one that I will always cherish.

Mark, Eva and I will miss you, but we know you are now with your Father. Although your life ended much too soon, you brought great joy and comfort to every person you met.

May God take wonderful care of you.

When I was around Mark and needed information or something fixed, he always knew the answer and could always fix it. He knew a lot about lots of things. My heart breaks for his families loss but it is comforting to know he is with his Heavenly Father healed for eternity.
