Martha retired from Phillip Morris
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lawrence “Dod” Downs and Mary “Jeanette” Downs; her husband, William “Paul” Devers; her sister, Mary “Ernestine” Nalley; and her brother, John Downs.
Martha is survived by her children, Dennis Devers (Melissa) and Paula Richardson; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Morrow (Larry) and Judy Newton (Leon); three brothers, Larry Downs, Dave Downs (Cecillia), and Ronnie Downs (Shirley); and her dear friends, Judy Parrigin, Mary Lou Schmidt, Carol Morris, and Linda Edwards.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 29, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home in Okolona. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 12:00 noon, with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or the American Kidney Fund.
Martha will be lovingly remembered.
