Mary F. Alvey

survived by her sisters Dottie Brown and Susie Warren, and her children Tammy Cummings (Jimmy), Timothy Alvey (Carmen), Tiffany Sipes (Jason).  She has 8 grandchildren, Bryan Springer (Sara),

Thomas Springer (Kelly), Korie Springer (Jacklyn), Grace Alvey, and Lydia Alvey.  She had 4 great grandchildren: Jase & Nora (Thomas), Hunter & Hazel (Korie).   Mary was a Kentucky Colonel, and a proud member of the Valley High School Hall of Fame. 

Mary graduated Valley High School in 1972 and never left. While Mary had 3 children, she had countless adopted children via Valley. She volunteered at Valley for countless years, and was finally added to

the staff as a Library aid. She tookearly retirement in 2014. Mary was an Avon Sales Representative and President's club member for many years. Mary lived in Valley Village.  Mary was involved in many efforts to improve her community. Any financial gifts can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation

(www.act.alz.org). Mary's Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2pm at the Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, with Burial following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 - 2pm at the funeral home.
