Mary "Fran" Francine Downs

Mary "Fran" Francine Downs, age 57, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Fran loved life with her amazing smile and heart of gold! She was a true friend to everyone. She was a devout Catholic, lover of all animals - especially dogs, and a huge sports fan.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Jack Downs, Jr; parents, Louis and Lena Daugherty, Jr; sister, Janet Eisenback; and her dog, Taz.

Left to cherish Fran's memory is her son, Dylan Sweazy (Aliyah Johnson); siblings, Joseph Terry Daugherty (Pat), Phyllis Blandford, Donna Brabandt (Tom), Paulette Tucker (Phil), Blaine Daugherty (Mary), Pam Murrer (Dave), James Tracy Daugherty (Sharon), Patty Cambron (Danny), Christy Hall (Eric); many nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends; and her fur baby, Jazz.

A visitation for Mary will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40219. A funeral service will occur Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. A committal service will follow in Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 State Hwy 208, Lebanon, Kentucky 40033.
