She took great pride in caring for those she loved and was known for her vibrant personality. Mary had a special way of making people laugh, enjoyed light hearted flirting, and enjoyed watching Westerns.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth F. Osborne; her son, Kenneth Johnson; and her brother, Joe Osborne.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, E. Juanita Osborne, Andrew Johnson, Timothy Johnson (Tammy), Jeffrey Johnson (Christy), and Rick Penick (Tina); her 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
Mary will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her.
