She was formerly employed by Phillip Morris and General Electric and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Hawkins; and parents, Taylor and Iva Phillips.
Mildred was the loving precious mother of Robert Taylor Hawkins, Connie Adwell (Larry), Becky Gahafer (Rocky) and Linda Stepp (Johnny). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, who she dearly loved.
Her service will be on Saturday 1 p.m. at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Expression of sympathy may go to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Printing House for The Blind.
