Morris Poole, age 85 of Louisville, KY died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at his residence in Louisville, KY. He was born in Breckinridge County on December 31, 1938, the son of the late Wilbur and Hattie Poole. Morris was a retired Civil Service employee at Ft. Knox.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Brown, his sisters Maggie Poole and Nora Peyton, brothers Robert Poole, Garfield, Will, Ernest Jr., Herman,Sherman, Jamie and Paul Dean.
Morris is survived by 2 sons: Morris II and Steven Brown, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a sister Beatrice Woods, several nieces and nephews, as well as other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Morris on, Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 3 PM, visitation will be on Thursday from 2PM to his service time. Cremation will follow.
