Born on December 17, 1965, to Cecil and Edna Cotton, Norman was a devoted family man and a friend to all. Whether it was backyard cookouts, Derby parties, or simply spending time together, Norman cherished every moment with those he loved. He never met a stranger, always had a helping hand to offer, and brought laughter wherever he went. Known for being the life of the party and a proud jokester, Norman’s presence lit up every room.
He loved karaoke, hot rods, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he was a provider, a husband, a dad, an awesome uncle, and the best “Pa” his family could have asked for. His love and generosity touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Norman was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Cotton; his brothers, Ricky and Wendall; and his sister, Donna. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra Cotton; daughter, Jessica Cotton-Klinglesmith (Kevin); son, Robert Klinglesmith (Ashley); grandchildren, Austin, Natalie, Logan, Lucas, Jasmine, Cayden, Michael, and Payton; great-grandchild, Waylon; mother, Edna Cotton; brothers, Eugene (Jenny), Gary (Brenda), Steven; sister, Carol (Keith); and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
