He was born July 1, 1934, in Riley, KY, the son of the late Lucian Elmer Wells and Lyda Betty (Whitehouse) Wells. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Barbara "Bobbe" Wells and four siblings, Kathleen, Clifton, Eunice and Viola.
Otis was a United States Navy veteran and worked at LG & E as a Load Dispatch Supervisor. He had been a member of Broadway Nazarene Church; Hikes Point Church of the Nazarene and most recently a member of Southeast Christian Church
Survivors include his sons, Kerry S. Wells, his wife Holly and son Spencer. Todd M. Wells, his wife Melanie and their children; Emma, Nathan, Benjamin and Sage.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
