She retired from Brown and Williamson after 30 years and was a member of Beechland Baptist Church.
Mrs. Adwell was preceded in rest by her husband Dennis Adwell and her father, Charles "Pat" Jones.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Basham (Nicole), Denny Adwell (Ginny) and Scott Adwell; bonus daughter, Josie Adwell; mother, Erma Jones Greer; grandchildren, Dustin, Chascity, Erika (Jerry), Tyler (Amanda) Kelsey, Kameron (Kristen), Hunter (Lauren), Walker (Hannah) and Mariah; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Caleb, Justice, Gaj'e, Adalyn, Amiyah, Alayna, Kolton and two who are on their way; a sister, Rebecca Jarrard (Steve); brother, Gary Jones (Cindy); and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Monday at 1pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Her visitation will be Sunday from 1pm until 8pm.
