He was a retired electronics expert for the U. S. Air Force and served in the Vietnam conflict. He was a member of the Brandenburg Moose Family Center #1177 and the VFW Post #1181.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie; daughters, Debi Bandy and Wanda Benningfield; sons, Chuck and Kenny Bandy; sister, Joyce Moore (Haskell); sisters-in-law, Margaret and Patricia Bandy; grandchildren, Tracy, Karla, James, Brandon, Kristal, Alex, Bethany, Dylan and Milinda Gayle; 12 great-grandchildren; his lifelong friends, Chuck Lundy and Charles Brickey His service will be on Thursday at noon at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Moose Lodge service is 7 p.m. Wednesday
