He was a member of Prairie Village Church of Christ. He retired from GE in 2000 after 35 years of employment. Throughout his life, Ray enjoyed traveling around the country playing softball, and in 1989 he was inducted into the Louisville A.S.A. Hall of Fame. He was a generous man who loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Roxie Sudeth, and three sisters, Helen Dupin, Joyce Dupin and Noble Jean Sudeth.
Ray is survived by a daughter, Kelli Thompson (Joel); two grandsons, Christopher (Martha) and Chad (Megan) All of Munfordville; a sister, Debbie Davis (Tony); two nieces; one nephew; several great nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Diane Masden.
His funeral will be on Wednesday, April 20th, at 12:30 pm at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home, with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
