Rebecca "Becky" Nell Reader, 78, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. She was born in West Virginia on January 16, 1948 to the late Ray and Thelma Wooten. Becky loved the beach! She was an avid UofL fan and an all around "sports mom". She enjoyed all music and spending time with her family reminiscing of times when she was a little girl.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert "Robbie" Reader; brother, Rodney Wooten; and several extended family members.
Left to cherish Becky's memory is her sister, Linda Ireland; nieces, Lindsey Lankswert (Tommy), Emily Sallee (Joel); nephews, Alexander Ireland, Zachary Ireland; great niece, Raelyn; great nephews, Aaron, Asher; and extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation for Becky will be on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 2pm until 7pm at Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy, 40272. Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 12pm noon with burial at Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, 40047 immediately following.
