With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Renee Sodenkamp, a cherished daughter, sister, and aunt. Born on December 16, 1971, Renee left us on September 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of family loyalty, a fierce work ethic, and unwavering strength.
As the eldest of three sisters, Renee embraced her role with pride and determination. Known for her strong will, she fiercely protected her family and friends and lived life on her own terms, a testament to her spirited personality. Renee had a passion for sports, cheering on her favorite teams, attending rock concerts, and running throughout her life.
Renee is survived by her loving father, Albert Sodenkamp; her devoted sisters, Denise Leaton (Chris) and Aimee Sodenkamp; and her cherished nephews, Cole and Caden Leaton. When you see a butterfly, please take a moment to remember her, so her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A private celebration of Renee’s life will be held later this year.
