He was a member of the Forestpark Com¬munity Church and attended Kaleidoscope and Life Works East Day Programs.
Richard was preceded in rest by his father, Squire Nichols, and his mother and step-father, Bettie and Dick Cornett.
He is survived by his sisters, Kim Hunt (Danny), Vickie, and Tina Nichols; his brothers, John, Kenny (Terri) and Chucky Nichols; neph¬ews, Seth (Catie) and Kyle Hunt; and great-nephew and nieces, Landon, Chloe and Caylee.
His funeral will be Monday, April 10 at 12pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louis¬ville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm until 9pm.
