Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Lila Wedding, and her brother, Glenn Wedding. She is survived by her children, Tobey Baxter (James), Leslie Carrier, and Jamie Womack (Scott); her grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Anthony, Josh, Marissa, Ozzy, Chandler, and Dean; her sister, Judith Matz (Richard); and her brother, Christopher Wedding.
A Celebration of Life for Rita will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Advantage Funeral Home, located at 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. Following the service, a burial will take place at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, next door at 10917 Dixie Highway.
