He was a former folding adjuster at Papercone Corp for 23 years.
Mr. Burns was preceded in rest by his mother, Janice Burns, and sister, Victoria Augustine.
He is survived by a son, Robert Tyler Burns, of Brandenburg; a daughter, Kayla Marie Burns, of Radcliff; his father, Rex H. Burns II; brothers, Rex H. Burns III (Alena) and Scot Burns (Sonya); five grandchildren; and his ex-wife, Stephanie Burns.
His funeral will be on Friday at 12 noon at the Advantage Funeral Home – Heady-Dixie, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in North Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 4pm until 8pm.
