He was retired from the Coke Cola Bottling Company, St. Petersburg, FL and a published author.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Cain Sr.; and his sister, Tina Lynn Cain.
Survivors include his loving son, Robert E. Cain III; parents, Raymond and Sherry Cain Lantz; sisters, Donna Smith (Rusty) and Becky Trask (Everett); nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Stephanie, Kyle, and Lucia Smith and Tyler and Camden Reed.
A celebration of life will be held noon Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Hwy. Burial: Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation: Monday, 4-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday.
