was born on September 16, 1933, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Bob, known for his craftsmanship, had a successful career as a bricklayer and was the proud
owner of McBride Construction Company. His passion for building extended beyond work, as he
enjoyed creating furniture for his family and engaging in glasswork in his spare time. He enjoyed
traveling with family in his motor home. Bob was an avid Kentucky Wildcat basketball fan
enjoying watching games with his wife and family. He served in his church for many years as a
bus ministry leader, teacher, and oversaw the construction of a new church building.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Zelda, his daughter Brenda Klingerman,
son-in-law Brian Klingerman, his son David McBride as well as seven grandchildren and nine
great grandchildren.
The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel in Valley Station,
Kentucky where a private service will be held.
