

65, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep on November 30, 2017.
Bose was born on November 29, 1952 in Louisville, KY to Robert and Dorothy Thrasher. He was a graduate of Valley High School and attended the University of Louisville where he received his Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate in Sport Administration. He was a good man who was big hearted, a loyal friend and a loving son. He worked as a horse trainer and within the University of Louisville Athletic Department from 78-79. He was the head baseball and women’s basketball coach at Lindsay Wilson College as well as the head softball and baseball coach at Valley High School. Bose had since devoted his time to being a college professor and influenced the lives of every student he had the pleasure of teaching at Troy University, Lees-McRae University and Georgia Southern. He was an avid golfer and die hard Louisville Cardinals fan. He was preceded in his death by his mother, Dorothy Thrasher and brother, Steven Thrasher. He is survived by his father, Robert Thrasher Sr., brothers Terry (Becky), Mike (Monica), Mark (Debbie) and Al, sisters Emily and Amy several nieces and nephews and his dog LD. A celebration of Bose life will be held Thursday at 12:00 P.M December 7, 2017 at advantage funeral home Hardy Chapel 10907 Dixie Hwy with burial to take place following the service at Resthaven Memorial Park.
